About Me

Founder of The Body Unbroken
Performance Coach | Movement Specialist | Lifelong Student of the Human Body

I’ve spent my entire life studying how to own a human body.

Not just live in it—but own it. Move through the world with power, grace, and presence. For me, movement isn’t just training. It’s how we age well. Heal deeply. Connect to ourselves.

For over four decades, I’ve been obsessed with one question:
What does it take to build a body that performs for life—without breaking down?

The answers have taken me across countries, careers, and communities. And they’ve only deepened my curiosity.

A Path Built on Movement

I grew up in England in a highly active family. My father, a natural athlete, inspired my fascination with fluid, powerful movement. As a multi-sport athlete, it felt inevitable that I’d pursue a degree in Sport Science.

After university, I took a summer job in the U.S. as an athletic director. A quick trip to the Caribbean turned into a 28-year chapter on the island of St. Croix, where my real education began.

I managed gyms, studied alongside chiropractors and rehab specialists, taught PE, and coached national-level athletes—including traveling internationally as team manager for the Men’s National Soccer Team while my teenage son played on the squad.

It was intense. It was immersive. And it was priceless.

From Island Roots to Stateside Expansion

When my kids left for college, I returned to the States—bringing with me the depth of hands-on experience I gained in the islands. I joined the team at the National Training Center, eventually launching my own business: AMPD LLC, a dedicated sports performance facility focused on true athletic development.

There, I worked alongside elite practitioners, master trainers, and specialists. And through all those high-performance circles, one truth became undeniable:

Almost everyone is, to some degree, broken.
Even high-level performers.

That realization shifted my mission—from chasing elite outputs to helping every body move, heal, and perform better across a lifetime.

What I Do Now

These days, I’ve stepped back from day-to-day training to focus on sharing what I’ve learned—through writing, consulting, and this platform. My own fitness journey is relentlessly ongoing, but I’m also here to help others build long-term, intelligent, sustainable performance.

Whether you’re recovering from injury, feeling stuck in your training, or just ready to take better ownership of your physical potential—this is for you.
